Literature Text

The truth is, I'm scared

I really don't know what to think

I feel stuck

The truth is, I'm not exactly sure what to tell you

I'm afraid of what you might think

I never know exactly what's on your mind

The truth is, I'm not sure what to do

I have never held anything from you

It's been awhile since I last told you how I felt

The truth is, I haven't yet had the chance to show you who I am

I want to tell you everything

I don't know you yet

The truth is, I want to know you

I wanted to walk with you in this life

I am more unsure of me than you

The truth is, I wonder if you'll except the true me

My feelings may never falter

The truth is, I still love you

And that's the truth.  Hope All Enjoy!!!

A very nice poem.  As I am wont to do from time to time, I write poetry or haiku responses to those poems that I find particularly insightful, moving, or intriguing.  This poem so moved me, so I have written a reply from the other person's perspective.  I have kept your format, and in most instances, answered your questions, even without hearing them.

Afraid to tell you...

PS. In the third to the last line, it should be "accept" vice "except".
